Iris was rescued, and is an adult, black and white cat. She is very quiet and does not destroy anything (furniture, etc). She is litterbox trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been spayed. Iris is pretty shy around dogs and kids -- at her foster home, she often hides from the foster's dogs. When she is face to face with them she is uncomfortable. She gets along fine with other cats. Iris would really love to find a person or family that can spend time with her. Someone with some patience that will give her time to get used to a new household. She isn't really used to being held, but she is very mellow and seems happy to have been rescued. She likes to sleep in random places where she feels safe & secure, and her foster goes on an 'Iris-Hunt' every morning to find her sleeping place (under furniture, on the top kitchen shelf, or in a drawer in the bathroom)!
